Evans might be on the losing end of what seems to be a serious match-up fail.
Evans is great, but like many of Jones’s opponents, Evans is just a little too on the “smart-safe-fighter” side, and Jones is intelligent enough to rip those fighters’ gameplans apart.

My thoughts on what Evans should do:
Fake every other takedown with a shoot, followed by either a clinch or dirty boxing, OR a combination of clinch and dirty boxing. I think Jones’s weak point may be handling being aggressively body controlled, then faked for takedowns, and eventually being taken down on a real attempt.
Evans just has to watch out for Jones’s tricky-slick inside HELL-bows, knees and elusive wrestling.

That all being said, and upset in this fight would put the UFC 145 arena (and fans at home) on their feet!

Looks like a fight to look forward to in my opinion.

Pierce got robbed if you ask me. Josh got one more take down, but Pierce landed way more strikes. When will judges ever see what “actually” happened? lol.

it wasn’t the biggest fight in ufc history like they hyped it up to be. but it was probably the biggest letdown in ufc history.

^ Hey, of course. I was just playing around and making fun of an opportunistic photo, that’s all, we all do that with pictures…………..although I can’t remember the last time I had a picture of me and a colleague both half-naked while one bear-hugs the other from behind, with Santa hats on.

Bottom line: I’m pretty sure they’re Silva and Rua aren’t gay, but this photo of them kinda, sorta, really is.

^ They’re actually lots of gay MMA fighters out there on the pro-circuit. They just ain’t come out the closet yet. Oh well, just so long as the fights are good.
